5月30日上午，天津外国语大学原副校长、国务院特贴专家、国家社科基金项目评审专家、中央编译局国家高端智库核心团队成员王铭玉教授应2138cn太阳集团古天乐邀请，在西校区D座耕读楼学院报告厅为师生作了题为“语言服务研究的十大任务”的精彩学术讲座，王浩勇院长主持报告会。

王铭玉教授长期关注语言服务业的发展，著述颇丰。他认为，在“一带一路”背景下，中国语言服务产业发展潜力巨大。在报告中，他详细阐述了语言服务研究的十大任务，系统介绍了国内外语言服务产业的现状和发展趋势，对未来高端语言服务人才需求和培养进行了展望。

另外，王铭玉教授还对天津外国语大学的学科建设工作做了经验分享，并对师生关心的外语人才培养、学科发展和教学科研等问题进行了互动交流，并鼓励青年教师积极参与教学研究，开拓思路，大胆尝试，抓住机遇，勇于担当，努力为国家和社会培养高素质外语人才。

Former Vice President of TFSU, Prof. Wang Mingyu lectures

in CFL on Invitation

On the morning of May 30, Prof. Wang Mingyugave a wonderful lecture entitledTen Tasks of Language Service Researchin the lecture hall of CFL, Gengdu Building, West Campus. Dean Wang Haoyong presided over the lecture. Wang Mingyu isthe former Vice President of Tianjin Foreign Studies University, State Council Special Allowance Expert, evaluation expert of projects supported by the National Social Science Fund , core team member of Central Compilation and Translation Bureau of China Top Think Tank.

Prof. Wang has long attached great importance on the development of language industry, and published a number of books and papers. He noted that the potential of China's language service industry must be great in the context of the Belt and Road Initiatives. In this lecture, Prof. Wang elaborated on the ten tasks of language service researchand introduced systematicallythe current situation and future development trends of the language service industry both at home and abroad. Also he proposed his ideas on the future demand and training of high-end language service talents.

In addition, Prof. Wang shared his experience on the discipline construction of TFSU and communicated with teacher and students on talent training, discipline development, teaching and research. He said that young teachers needed to act in an innovative and pioneering spirit, seized opportunities, took up responsibilities, and strove to cultivate high-quality foreign language talents for the country and society.

At the end of the lecture, Dean Wang Haoyongfirst expressed his heartfelt thanks to Professor Wang Mingyu. He also pointed out that this lecture featured a clear theme, advanced concepts, and rich contents, and must be of of great significance towards the constructions of curriculum and talent cultivation system. He hoped the teacher and students of CFL should try to understand the current situation and future development trends of the language service industry and clarified the directions of personal teaching and scientific research.(Trans.
